I am an Italian journalist seeking new challenges in the world of London media. Good writing and reporting skills, flexible and able to work on different platforms (print, broadcast, web).
I am currently completing an MA in International Journalism at City University London.

2009 – 2010
Freelancing for several publications both in Italian and English, both in print and
video
I contribute quite regularly to The First Pint, an oline publication targeting international students 
living in London. My articles were also published on The Samosa, Film24.com and on GDOWeek, a 
magazine of the Il Sole 24 Ore group (the Italian equivalent of The Financial Times), dealing with
retail and wholesale

2009 –  2010        
The Periscope Post, London, start-up online newspaper,  4-week internship 
I researched, collated and edited news stories for publication on the site and reported on the experience of Haitians living in London in the aftermath of the earthquake. I also contributed with opinion pieces

2007                         
TelePordenone, Pordenone (Italy), local TV station, 4-week internship  
I wrote copies for commercials and features for a weekly TV programme in which a book, a film and a CD were presented and reviewed. I also helped as camera assistant and had first-hand experience of liaising with clients

University and High school

2010                         
The Wallet Street Journal, CheckOut, greenongrey.org.uk, London
I was photo editor of the first two publications and reporter for the website. The Wallet Street Journal is a newspaper offering in-depth coverage of the Budget Day. CheckOut is a lifestyle magazine targeting young professionals on a budget. Greeongrey is a website covering issues related to the environment with a London slant.

2009                           
Fuori Aula Network, Verona (Italy), one-off project: L’Ornitorinco
40-hour course in radio history and editing (using Audacity) 
I edited and produced a radio format pilot. In a team of two, I  also planned a promotion campaign for it

2007-2009

I contributed several articles on the student magazine, mainly on culture-related issues (cinema, books, theatre)

2005-2006

I founded with a team of 8 people a magazine targeting the students of our high school. I contributed mainly with articles related to culture
